Training & Certification

GSS arranges relevant all training, certification, and documentation for seafarers before joining ship. We are strictly complying the IMO and STCW 2010 rules and regulations.

GSS has an agreement with Bangladesh marine academy and it is fully equipped with state of art resources including bridge and engine room simulators and also ECDIS. All STCW as per 2010 manila amendments are also being conducted here and those are duly approved by the department of shipping.


Seafarer's License:
GSS also assists seafarers in obtaining medical fitness certificates in various locations and necessary training and up-gradation of competency through IMO accredited organizations. GSS is capable of processing seafarer's licenses and endorsements under the following flags:

• Sierra Leone
• Georgia
• Bolivia
• Cambodia
• Honduras
• Malta


Vessel Registration:
GSS also assists shipowners for registration & certification of their vessels under the below flag:

> Radio Survey / Programming onboard

> Inmarsat Activation on board

> Life Raft, Life Boat, Rescue Boat, & Davit Annuals / Inspections

> CICA, and other Technical Certificate Inspections

> Non-Iacs Technical Certificates

> Servicing of FFA (Co2 Extinguishers, Life Rafts) through IACS Approved

> For any vessel (Dry Docking) UT for Hull & Machinery, & NDT for Welds.
